Getting in to Goa
The Dabolim airport is Goa’s only airport. The majority of flights fly to Mumbai, however, some companies do fly to from connector flights to Mumbai. Some companies that fly direct are: Cathay Pacific, Jet Airways, Air Asia, and Hong Kong Airlines.
You can fly domestically with Air India from many cities such as: Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Jaipur and Calicut.
Prepaid taxis are available outside of the airport arrival terminal that will bring guests to their final destinations. Shuttle buses may also be available depending on where your accommodation is located.
The main railway stations in Goa can be found in Margao. These stations are well connected with most major cities as well as smaller areas in the country.
Buses to Goa can be taken from many cities in India. There are government buses that will take you to Goa from Panaji, Madgaon, Vasco and the larger cities as such as Pune and Mumbai. Private buses operated by the companies Neeta Tour and Travels, Paulo Travels and Naik Tours and Travels are also an option.
